UAcoustics nominated for the ADI Design Index 2024

The new UAcoustics brand nominated for the ADI Design Index 2024: innovation that redefines acoustic comfort

We are proud to announce that UAcoustics has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2024, the prestigious annual review of the Association for Industrial Design that brings together the best Italian design in view of the next edition of the Compasso d’Oro Award.
The ADI Permanent Design Observatory has in fact included UAcoustics among the most relevant projects of the two-year period 2024/2025, deeming it worthy of accessing the selection for the Compasso d’Oro ADI 2026, the most authoritative recognition of industrial design at an international level.

The UAcoustics project marks a new frontier in the field of architectural acoustics: a modular, eco-friendly and high-performance solution, designed to improve the quality of internal environments, both public and private.
The result of an integrated design process, UAcoustics is born from the synergy between technological research and environmental responsibility — thanks to the experience and technical know-how of Polymaxitalia — and a strong aesthetic sensibility, enhanced by the artistic direction of Barbara Candoni and Sylva Gortana. The result is a system that harmoniously combines functionality, design and sustainability.

With UAcoustics, the commitment to rethinking acoustic comfort in a contemporary way is realized: by combining innovation, aesthetics and respect for the environment, the project proposes a new way of experiencing space through sound.
The candidacy for the ADI Design Index 2024 represents an important milestone in our research and development path, and testifies to UAcoustics‘ contribution to the evolution of Italian design.
